Local school board members, community leaders and everyday Kansans will have the opportunity to provide input on the issues that will help Kansas students thrive as the Kansas Can Success Tour revs back up next week.
During the meetings, Kansas Education Commissioner Dr. Randy Watson and Deputy Commissioner Brad Neuenswander review the Kansans Can vision of focusing on the success of each student. In small group discussions, attendees provide input on the future direction of public schools.
The 50-city tour has already visited 28 cities in which nearly 2,000 Kansans have participated in the discussions.
On Monday (Aug. 30), meetings will be conducted in Hutchinson, Pratt and Wichita with more stops scheduled throughout the week. Here is a link to the schedule.
